The stars are aligning right now

I am in the aphelion,

the place of uttermost pulchritude,

where space and time gleefully converge

in one glorious, fluid motion

and down there, on earth

the Koreans sign peace treaties

and Wall Street is no longer occupied

and putrid pollution now ceases

and cars are no longer crashing

as I have barged through the doors

sat down on my favorite stool

lit up a cigarette

and started a new tab.
