Contests Poems What's New

Blank Stories by Samantha Titus

Heartstrings pull against

Your old yellow raincoat

Tattered against my chest

Lungs blown up

Hanging above the mantel

Punctured and gently framed

Two lips burning

A sinner’s fire crackles

Smiles and frowns broken

Tendons stretched out

Hanging down the wall

Running towards nothing.
